Aguinaldo sa Aguilar

The University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) Unit together with theย  7th Civil-Military Operations โ€œGwapoโ€ Battalion of the Armed Forces of the Philippines successfully led the conduct of a major donation drive dubbed as โ€œAguinaldo Sa Aguilar” on 07 December 2023.

The said initiative was able to benefit the students from the indigenous communities, specifically the ๐—ž๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ธ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฎ-๐—ฒ๐˜† and ๐—œ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ถ ๐—ง๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ members at ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฎ ๐—œ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ฆ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—น, Purok Mapita, Brgy Laog, Aguilar, Pangasinan. They were able to receive complete kits composed of school supplies and learning materials.

The donations were packed and prepared by the cadet officers of the UPD ROTC and were officially turned over to the battalion on 06 December 2023.  Aside from this, persons with disabilities received free medical and dental consultations, along with the distribution of essential vitamins courtesy of the Philippine Army.

This collaborative effort of extending our service to the community exemplifies the commitment of the UPD ROTCU and the 7th Civil-Military Operations Battalion to making a positive impact on communities in need.
